This is the place to visit if you love a proper scone! We came last year and had one of their scones and it was huge and delicious! So we knew we had to come back when visiting Helmsley again. The place offers a friendly vibe and it is dog friendly which is always a bonus for us. The price is slightly more expensive than some places but worth it in our opinion.
Most enjoyable experience! We had a super tasty breakfast here at the weekend. Service is excellent, professional, efficient and friendly. Lovely cosy clean surroundings, food was delicious, cooked with love and tasty and hot. The owner, (I think) was on-it and very attentive and personable. Great way to run a successful business : ) Thank you
The food is gorgeous. The coffee is amazing. The service is brilliant. I love the restaurant/cafe. I also love their restaurant in York. It’s a little bit pricey but I guess it’s everywhere now after Covid.
Really lovely cafe situated in the heart of Helmsley. We sat outside for lunch surrounded by historic buildings and with view of the ancient castle. We were welcomed with friendly service and promptly served the most delicious, fresh and home cooked food. Too stuffed for pudding but the cakes looked excellent. Will return!
Charming little café in a prime location in Helmsley. Dog friendly, staff were lovely and the food was gorgeous. They even adapted the menu to my Gluten Free needs without any fuss. Would highly recommend.
