In the unlikely event they don't stock what you require, knowledgeable staff will be able to point you in the right direction to somewhere that does. I was after something to measure a car park. Homeworks had exactly what I needed and the item had £2.00 off the RRP.

They are so helpful, the filler I had bought somewhere else didn’t work, it fell out when I screwed into it . I asked for something else that would work and they told me how to use it ( not as per the instructions ) rather than selling me another pot and it worked ! They also know who might have what you need if they don’t. Can’t recommend them highly enough, they are always so helpful.

What a brilliant find, thanks to local BATA store, great service, could not have been more helpful, found exactly what was required and gave good advice. Worth seeking out if in need of any DIY products. Thanks

I took a kettle back here, only used for 6 months, would not change as he said we had not descaled it , causing the element to overheat. we do not have hard water in Thirsk. I am now dealing with the manufacturer regarding this complaint. The moral of the story is don't purchase electrical goods from here as if they go wrong he does not honour the customer rights.
