Love love love this shoe shop a hidden gem! Compared to my usual shoe haunt I found them to be reasonable in price. Good quality excellent customer service had a few pairs sent by post. Can't wait to go again to pick my autumn boots as it's the only brands that seem to fit my calf.

I’ve been visiting Helmsley and Veneto (from Australia) for around 20 years - what a gorgeous town and fabulous shoe shop. I’m always remembered and made to feel very welcome and I always come away with a bargain or two!! It’s so lovely to have consistency and great personal customer service.

Lovely shop, with an excellent range of shoes. If you are looking for shoes that you would not normally find on the high street at a reasonable price then take a trip to the beautiful Helmsley! Excellent customer service as well.

Love this shop! Been shopping there for nearly 20 years and still going back. Lovely shoes, always updating ranges and great customer service. My latest gabor shoes are so comfy and look great! Thank you Veneto!

In late April 2017 my wife posted a shoe to Veneto in Helmsley which was mistakenly included in the same box as a pair of shoes recently bought. We only found the additional shoe when back home after visiting Helmsley. We contacted the shop by phone, posted the shoe back and they agreed to refund the postage. However, instead of crediting my card they made an additional charge ! Despite 4 email attempts to contact Veneto, they completely failed to respond. A combination of incompetence in including the additional shoe originally, and appalling customer service subsequently.
