Lovely peaceful site and a great location for trips out to different towns. Chalet was comfortable for 3 adults. I think 6 would have been a squeeze. Wifi was slow. Could do with being boosted.
Lovely stay here in a beautiful lodge. Walking distance to a hotel and couple of pubs . A trip to Whitby can be made on the local bus if you dont want to drive .
Absolutely beautiful lodge, on a well maintained site only 10 minutes walk away from the beach. No hot tub at the lodge, but there is a big outside seating area with a bbq, and ample parking.
Myself and my husband stayed here for Christmas and it was lovely. The cabin was made to look gorgeous with the Christmas decorations. Thank you for our gifts. The beach is lovely although the hill really pulls on your calves haha. Thank you for a lovely Christmas x
We stayed in the rock pool retreat for our family weekend away and took our family dog. The Pines is a lovely small park. We were bowled away with our lodge. Very comfortable for 5 adults and 1 large staffy. The park isn't loud, nice and quiet, the grounds are kept nice and clean. We contacted the owners due to not being sure if there was tv aerial to watch live TV as we do like some background noise π. Although no access to the TV other than using BBC iplayer or catch up TV,this isn't a problem when we have tech savy adults in our group but if it was just our parents then they would have struggled due to not having a smart TV at home and stuck in the dark ages π. The park is also 7 miles from whitby ,4 miles or so to Sandsend which is lovely and Staithes again is not far away. We can recommend the crab and lobster pub whilst there.
