Very big gardens to look at and walk in, castle is nice and you can go up to the top point. Vast parklands with Deer, cows and sheep. Nice cafe which isn't too expensive and has a Dog friendly area. Still would like the actual manor open to public but it only opens on select bookings as its a private college. Just wish there was more history around to read. Great kids playground!.
This is a beautiful walking area with free Carpark. Site is uphill after Cafe/BookShop with very good Play Area. Loads of places for Picnics and seating to view gardens or view's. Paths are rough stone or grass, so not suitable for wheels (ie. Wheelchairs, Prams, Bikes or scooters). Overall a lovely day out.
This car park is free for members only. Lots of disabled spots. The downside is that it's not paved. It's natural, so someone in a wheelchair may find it bumpy. There are no lines to define the parking spaces, so be careful, but there are lots of attendants to help with the parking.
Amazing!
