Really cannot rate this lovely guest house high enough - real value for money and the couple who run it are always available if needed! Lemon Drizzle cake is amazing, made on site and one in your room on arrival - really wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hornsea!! In 2 of the rooms get a view of the sea as the sea front is within easy walking distance.
Great place everything you can ask for in your room, location spot on and Sarah and Paul great hosts and make you feel so welcome into there home will definitely be going back 👍❤️ Oh and the lemon drizzle cake was to die for ❤️
Merlstead guest house is perfect, comfortable and well equipped room for those who don't do breakfast!welcoming hosts, perfectly located for peace and quiet, plenty of parking., short walk to the seafront, cafes and restaurants are all close and serve excellent menus,the little town centre is just around the corner , an excellent find,thank you Sarah and Paul The Cleggs Huddersfield
Amazing Guest house...From the minute you are met at the front door everything is so laid back and relaxed.. Rooms are amazing plus the lemon 🍋 drizzle cake is gorgeous . Little fringe with fresh milk and cereal supplied... If you are looking for a relaxing break this is the place to book . Sarah and Paul are the perfect hosts..
Excellent place to stay in Hornsea. Our second time here. There are no negatives. There is not a bar or a breakfast room. But there is a well stocked breakfast cereal cupboard with tea, coffee and fruit juices. The rooms are beautifully decorated clean and very comfortable. And the modern amenities are all here too. Internet, smart TVs even a Bluetooth smart mirror in the bathroom! Can you book a better place in Hornsea? Possibly. But you’ll have to pay a large slice of cash for not a lot more. The hosts Sarah & Paul are perfect.
