Stayed in kingfisher lodge. Huge lodge for 2 people. Clean and cosy. Only negative is the outside lights, after 6.30pm they keep going on and off. Be better if you had control of these as its much nicer sat in hot tub without it, plus it shines into the bedroom. Mop and bucket in lodge would also be useful.

Stayed in the dovetail lodge. 3 adults 2 kids. The lodge was clean and spacious. Hot tub was lovely. The setting around the lakes is beautiful and so peaceful. Got the log burner up and running and it heated the cabin thoroughly. Hornsea beach a short walk away. If I had to pick a negative it would be there was no aerial cable for the tv but honestly that's trivial. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to relax. Will be booking again for next year.

We stayed in the oystercatcher lodge which was generally very clean and well presented and rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. Kitchen amenities were enough but oven took quite a while to cook anything. With six kids in the lodge a washing machine would have been great but we managed where we had too. The setting is amazing, extremely peaceful and feels so isolated with some great views of sunsets and night skys. Kids loved having the ducks stop by each day. We had no issues with the hot tub overall although some of the jets were intermittent but was a good addition to the lodge. Overall would definitely recommend for family stays.

The lodge and site are beautiful. Only downside, the site could benefit from a park for children. We stayed for 5 days, the hot tub started to stink and went manky, this should have been maintained for cleanliness but was expected to pay £30 to keep it clean. A £200 security deposit also had to be paid at the start, plus £30+ to hire the bbq. Its alot of money to pay out at the start of the holiday when we paid alot to here. The lodge could also benefit from an electric fly zapper as we was swarmed with flies 🤮. Overall the place was lovely, just more disappointed that the hot tub wasnt maintained and we was expected to pay to maintain it
