A small but pleasant sea front, with a monitored beach area by lifeguards. There is a section of the sea front which is restricted to dogs during summer months but dogs can go on the heaviest outside the area, which is at the the end of the promenade and beyond the boat launch area. There is also a no cycling enforcement along the promenade. The tide does come all the way in along the majority of the front, bar the lifeguard area where a small beach area is not affected by the tide. There are steps and ramps down to the beach, so also accessible if got a pushchair or festival cart. There is a small fair which resides adjacent the beach and is there summer months only. The front also has a fish and chip shop / ice cream shop and also toilets. Another small shop, which serves bacon and sausage sandwiches further down the front. A nice stop is a pub at the far end of the promenade which also serves hot food.
