Excellent space, plenty for the little ones to climb and explore. For what it is, it's probably overpriced in comparison to other available indoor play centres. And if they aren't making any efforts to fix the issue with the heating as its FREEZING inside (Per a review over 3 months ago) then entry prices should be reduced to reflect that. Staff were informative, friendly and polite. It could be better if the temperature was improved.
We've been to the freeport a few times, but this was our first time visiting Beach Cove. It was a great experience! The kids loved running around in the indoor play area, which had plenty of activities to keep them busy. There was also an outdoor play area, but we didn't get to use it because it was raining. We only paid for the kids to go in, and we were able to sit at one of the many tables and order a drink. There was no time limit, so we were able to stay as long as we wanted. This makes it a great option for families on a budget.
Took my daughter week a ago paid 15 pound and had to go to the shop around the corner for more clothes layers and socks it was so cold, we couldn't take our coats off it was warmer outside then inside and it was raining. Staff was in layers of clothes, theses conditions are not ok to work in let alone play in! No balls in the ball pit, we didnt stay long as my child couldn't keep warm. We use to come here all the time last year before it shut.
Took my grandson on Saturday, had to leave after 30 minutes, colder inside than outside. Absolutely appalling, staff wearing fleeces huddled in the kitchen area, trying to keep warm. Never again not paying £9.95 for such a nightmare. Noticed no owners there
Visited the other day with my toddler, the baby area was clean and lovely and kept her entertained but the larger play area looked empty, the ball pool doesn’t contain balls anymore so there’s just a few slides and nothing else, hopefully the new owners will be adding things to this because if I’d taken my son (who was at school at the time) it would have cost me nearly £20 for us all to get in with nothing to do for him, literally the only fault within the whole place.
