Warm and welcoming. Food and prices no complaints. Dog friendly area is very welcome, but sadly usually taken up with people without dogs. Sometimes one person sat at table for 4 with a lap top and empty cup!! Lots of free tables in dog restricted area they could use. Sadly ERCC are loosing these doggie people’s trade.

Very clean, new fresh paint look and feel to it. Arrived for the Friday AM 1 hour slot soft play and bouncy castles. Little track for bikes to race around. So many toys for the kids. Huge space too. You can take your food and drink along with you for your little ones. Cafe available and you can grab hot drinks to bring in if you desperately needed caffeine. Take away cup obviously. You can't leave your children (don't know anywhere that would allow this) but it's still worth mentioning. 930-1030 is the only time you can visit for this activity. Swimming pools and areas looked ace! The building is easy to find too, and I get lost very quick.

What a lovely day out if you are in the area. A nice little town with parking on the streets for free if you are willing to walk a bit, or pay in the closest carparks. A couple of small cafés by the beach for fish and chips. The beach is split into "bays" to keep the sand in. Some pebbles and grit at the top half of the central bays. A little bit painful to cross, but nice sand towards and in the waterline. Sea is quite shallow until quite a long way out, so extremely safe for younger children to play in. Lifeguards were on hand in the middle sections and seemed quite attentive. The tide does come in very quickly, it is worth timing the visit for lower tide. The waves were quite high along the beach, so good for a little bit of body-boarding. Overall, there is a very nice feel for this town, it is quite open, without lots of concrete everywhere. An easy walk to the shops and a nice promenade.

Great leisure centre with excellent facilities brilliant gym only downside is the staff in the gym are not the friendliest people lve ever met (it doesn’t actually affect me as I have been going to the gym for a long time and know my way around the machines etc) but there is one young woman in particular, a very young blonde lady with glasses who is very very abrasive and doesn’t seem to realise she is there to help gym goers she definitely needs to work on her people skills and adapt her rude attitude as her manner would be very off putting to prospective gym users.

We come often for a swim and a cuppa and a piece of cake in the cafe afterwards and love it. Yesterday was not a good experience as it was spoilt as we could not chat as usual ( this was at 3pm) the older lady cleaning the tables was dragging the wooden legged chairs and crashing them down on the floor on every table making us jump out if our skin! She seemed on a mission to get every chair and table back in position making as much noise and clatter bang as she possibly could. Did she really need to do it so noisily?
