I popped down today 27th December to take a few photos, first time I’m been there before it’s a beautiful place with a free car park right on the sea front near the entrance to the caravan site

Lovely little quiet site, no need to get my water pipe out to fill up as they already had a fresh water hose and reel hooked up which could reach every pitch on the site, shower and toilet facilities was just the one room at the rear of the owners property but very clean and tidy, the shower needed a fifty pence peace to operate it but that did enough hot water for me and my wife to get individual showers. Rubbish and recycling Bins were also around the back along with waste disposal drain and another tap with hose attached to wash your cassette out. Crown & ancher pub just a few metres walk down the road serving good food and beer(would recommend booking a table in advance if eating there as it was very busy) the site is situated right at the beginning of the spurn in a perfect position for walking. Would definitely stay here again.

Walked from centre to find the dog friendly part of the beach. Many, many signs telling us where we couldn't take our dog, none telling us where we could. We were enjoying paddling in the sea till a family decided they didn't need to have their dog on a leash. Our dog started barking as the small dog shot around her in different directions!!
