Very nice green area. Great open space. Lots of dogs enjoying themselves. Also a nice playground for the kids. There’s a couple of car parks that it opens onto which offer free parking for up to 3 hours.

Here is a historic Garth ( means garden in quad. Was used to refer to the garden in cloisters of a monastery) This was the garden to the hall near St Nicholas Church. I have known this place for over 60 years. Once had a 9 hole pitch and put golf course, always had a play park. Always had safe space. Now has exercise areas, playback, skate park, zip wires and lots of seating. Picnic, walk, exercise or just sit and look at wonderful wildlife, birds and all. There are also restaurants, pubs and cafes around the park. All in all a wonderful place to go.

Some of the equipment in the playground needs a refresh or just a really good clean, the baby swings especially were filthy. Lots of things to play on and most were ok and my kids loved being there. There's a skate park at the side of the play area which looked busy. Huge fields and plenty of space to run about in, play Ball or have a picnic. Parking is free which is great, although the car park is only small and quite tight navigating, especially with big cars. Big fields and plenty of space for kids and dogs to run about.

Brilliant park lots of things for the kids to do. , skate park and playground. Lots of exercise machines for use. Established trees 🌳 and huge area to walk dogs and used a lot throughout the year for carnivals 🎡 and fairs

A very nice local park, probably the biggest in Hornsea, free parking is available for 1 hour in the two car parks off of the high street There's a play area, skate park, outdoor gym, toilets and plenty of grassland/playing fields All in all a great place to take the kids when you visit Hornsea! The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 was the persistence of the stench of dog wee/poo wafting around, otherwise it'd have been full marks
