Amazing little zoo - passionate staff, engaging talks, happy animals We had such a wonderful time at this little zoo! From the moment we arrived the experience felt so personal and special. Leah was amazing throughout our visit, she was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals. During the feeding sessions she not only shared fantastic facts but also gently challenged some negative preconceptions people may have about certain animals, helping us to view them in a new light. It was very quiet when we visited, and so the talks and feedings were almost like a private tour. Leah made time for so many questions and explained things in such an engaging way. I loved seeing how many of the animals were rescued and now being given proper care. It's a small zoo, but there's so much to see - we were happily exploring for about two hours. Many of the animals are free-roaming, and if you are patient and respectful they may choose to come very close to you - we got to see tortoises, macaws, stick insects, golden pheasants and iguanas so close up, it was brilliant. The enclosures are thoughtfully designed with lots of hiding spaces, and the signs are all genuinely interesting. Overall fantastic value for money and such a positive experience, I think it was the highlight of our holiday. Animals are clearly well cared for and the staff are outstanding.

Great little place to have a wander round and see a nice variety of tropical animals, with some lovely free roaming birds. It is small so don't plan a full day here, but it's definitely worth a visit. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This small tropical greenhouse is home to some great creatures, there's not a massive amount here but what there is is well looked after and interesting, be prepared to sweat as the temp and humidity is quite extreme, we also liked use talk that a young lady gave about the cockroach she allowed us to handle very intuitive, price is about right for what is there, loved the free roaming iguanas.

Some incredible species there. I was only there for 2 hours and was blown away. Staff were very informative telling me fun facts and showing me what some of the animals could do. Must go again.
