I normally don’t write reviews however on Thursday I had a very uncomfortable and unfortunate experience in the horsforth greggs. I was with my husband and our children (to whom it may concern are biracial.) When a staff member who i think was called Jane muttered a racial slur under her breath after serving my asian husband. To be quite honest this unacceptable in a zero tolerance company, I would have not expected this from Greggs. I will not be coming back and I hope this prejudice behaviour won’t be repeated to other people of colour.

We absolutely love hayley! What an asset to greggs! We went in hungover and really gobby making a scene and she dealt with us with kindness, humour and patience! Hayleys our favourite!

Looks like I’m not the only one writing reviews about rude staff ,heard Ash talking about me standing outside with a costa coffee in my hand in a rude way,went in to get a doughnut just to catch her name unfortunately being sleep deprived with a baby in the pushchair didn’t have the energy to confront her on such behaviour but people come into the shop mostly to fuel up not really impressed by overhearing the staff gossiping loudly about customers .Just focus on better customer service because this is beyond unacceptable behaviour

I should preface this with I absolutely love this greggs but I think today may be my last visit. I had an order to collect at 10:10AM , arrived in good time and was automatically told that my order was being prepared without even giving my reference number. Stood there for a good 10 minutes and no communication from the staff behind the till, all they could speak about is how they can't wait for this shift to end and complaining how it's always busy when they get to work, I stand there for another 5 minutes no communication, I see that my order has been bagged and ready to take and I hear nothing, no callout, no numbers being read, I only got my food after another person came in and said their name and it turns out that the staff were confused on who wanted what. As I mentioned communication is key in this situation which none was made.
