GO Outdoors

I recently visited the Go Outdoors on Leeds Road in Huddersfield, and it was a fantastic experience. I have shopped in quite a few outdoor stores, and this is easily among the best. ​The store itself is very spacious and adequately stocked with a great range of gear. What really stood out, however, was the attentive staff. A special shout-out to Michael, who was incredibly helpful in assisting me with finding the perfect pair of Salomon outdoor shoes. I will definitely be back and happily recommend this store to others.

Brilliant store, didn't have my brand trekking poles but maybe will have in stock soon. Bought my OEX stove and a bag which was returned because I bought wrong size. No hassle, Helpful and friendly staff Coming again.

Lovely shop, very well kitted out. The manager Nick was on the floor and his expertise and knowledge was fantastic. He couldn’t be more helpful.

Terrible customer service. They had an offer in their magazine and I tried to buy the item. Go Outdoors declined the purchase which meant a wasted journey (quite a long round trip). I spoke to customer services but they were very unsympathetic and did not take the time to look into why their magazine offer had been cancelled prematurely. Frustrating company that just seems to be after your money

Ordered online and collected the same day but keep getting reminders to come and pick up. Tried ringing 3 times, no answer , email not monitored. That said I am very happy with my purchases - please just get some staff!
