This is one of those places where if you use your common sense and can a good cut through, somewhere nice to walk the dog but also interesting to see the really old graves. But it's not safe, especially for people walking in the dark on their own. It's just to dodgy.
Nice walk through both cemeteries and the woods with the Quaker burial grounds. Negatives. Beer cans left from drinkers who show no respect and the lack neglect for the Lodge house on the grounds - surely the tenants have time to keep the gardens tidy. Overall nice walk with kids.
The cemetery is a pleasant enough place but it is poorly maintained and could do with a bit more care and maintenance. The plots were waterlogged and it was terribly bumpy to get to the graves we were visiting. Itβs a shame.
Good place for a walk in the daytime good for taking the dog too lot's of old grave stones to read
Really great place to go on a dog walk or clear your mind.
