As I settled into a cozy study nook, surrounded by the soft glow of lamps and the gentle hum of activity, I felt a deep sense of connection to this community of learners. 🤫🤫🤫 Haha, nah you really don't have to keep it all the way down unless you're in the reading room or certain quiet zones. Opened in 1960 and redeveloped in 2015, it has over a million physical books, 500 open access PCs, laptop hire and even a rare books collection on the 7th floor. Talking about the 7th floor, its called the observatory and it's the laidback floor with an amazing view of the city. You can see the Humber Bridge, the Deep and KC stadium. It also has its book catalogue online and can be accessed remotely. The study skills team is also on the first floor and they are awesome. I am fortunate to volunteer with the library team, and it's been a wonderful experience.
