Found this excellent cafe on Google. A bit hard to find and you will need satnav if you don’t know Hull. A very good alternative to Hotel breakfasts as it tastes freshly cooked and certainly much better value for money
A typical working mans cafe in an industrial part of Hull. The cafe is very bright and clean. Nice mural on the outside really attracts your attention. The staff are very friendly and even though it was a little bit busy the service was very quick. I had the full English breakfast which also comes with tea and toast. For £6 it was an excellent breakfast. I didn't know this cafe existed I only discovered it through Google Maps, (thank you Google). A great cafe so much better than the chain fast food joints. Recommended.
Breakfast is great. One of the best in Hull! Highly recommend. I only wish they were open at the weekend!
As a tradesman myself, Been here a few times. Standard poor/average drinks you’d expect from this sort of place. Food is bang average to poor. But I knew what it was and it was convenient. However, I witnessed what could only be the worst customer service I’ve seen. Extremely Rude woman that works there. Awful towards customers and telling them to leave because they had laptops out?! Pathetic way to speak to polite customers who are simply giving them trade!!! The place was virtually empty as well!!!! As a tradesman myself I also have a laptop where I regularly answer emails for invoices etc. I often take this laptop/pad into cafes with me. It’s not like these customers were there hours and not buying! I will never go back to this cafe again! Disgusting attitude!!! I would not recommend this cafe to any of the lads (or women) from work! I’ve also highlighted this to a number of businesses I work for who have had regular orders from here (again for convenience and not quality), but they’ve also decided to stop ordering. Manners and being polite go a long way. Well…… this cafe has lost many customers!! People like this make me ashamed to be from Hull. Disgusting attitude from staff!! AVOID
Food and hot drinks were fine. However apparently you're not allowed to do some work on your laptop whilst you have your drink. Even though the cafe was pretty much empty we were turfed out and told the cafe is "not an office". First ever visit to Hull and the first time I've experienced this in a Cafe!
