What a find! I was in Hull to visit the theatre and was looking for somewhere to have a coffee when I noticed Made by Jo. It’s a relatively new business but the owner has really put her stamp on it with lovely decor and the most amazing range of sweet treats, savoury pies and lots more, all homemade. I sat in the little area at the front of the shop with a low table but there’s lots of more traditional tables and chairs. There is a parking bay just by the door and plenty of room for wheelchair access, however the toilet facilities are down a few steps so not accessible to all. I really enjoyed my coffee and will definitely go back. Highly recommended!
Had some time to kill so decided to try the cafe, found the prices very reasonable. The service I received was excellent.i ordered the regular breakfast and a latte, the food was of good quality. The only criticism is that I would have liked the bacon a bit more well done as it was a bit too pink for me. Apart from that the cafe is well worth a visit
Absolutely lovely home cooked food. The quiche was one of the best I’ve had and exactly what I needed whilst working a sunny day in an office job. The service was lovely and I can’t wait to go back on my next lunch break and explore the menu even more !
Just found this today by accident. Will definitely be going back. Food was lovely and the best cup of tea I've had in a cafe. Staff are really nice.
Try it you won't be disappointed absolutely wonderful. Had 1x regular breakfast and 2x large breakfast with 2 hot chocolate with my daughter. Definitely coming as now our favourite spot
