I recomended this cafe to my friend so we went. The lady who seemed to be in charge was so abrupt and rude to us.. Horrible woman the rest of the staff are fine, but because of her we wont be going again. Everything we asked for she said we havent got it in a in a very snappy rude answer. So we went else where. I know a lot of my friends have had the same experience. Sorry but cant see the cafe lasting long.
We was passing and my mum wasn't feeling well. So I said let's grab a coffee and you can sit down for a rest. We saw the chairs were around so my mum asked if they were still serving to which the lady replied well we close in 30 minutes. My mum explained we just wanted a quick coffee and she told her to sit on the left side then. Then as my mum walked to sit ( I don't know if she didn't know that we was together) the lady started pulling faces to the other male worker and shaking her head huffing and puffing while proceeding to pull faces! To which I told my mother that I would rather get a take out coffee from anywhere else and sit on a bench. Rude and totally unprofessional. If she didn't want to serve us then why not just say, yes we're closed or closing. Absolutely no need for that behaviour. She was lucky I was with my mother and she wasn't feeling great!!
Had excellent scrambled egg on toast with beans. Hoping to go back soon for more. Also had nice cake. Excellent overall. Service was quick and they asked if we enjoyed it, which is always nice when they care what customers think.
Absolutely love this cafe. My second time going, and a brilliant service. The cherry cake is delicious, and gluten free!!! Lovely atmosphere, nice and quiet too. Highly recommend! 👍😊
Possibly the most overpriced lunch i have ever paid for. though I may not be the target audience for the cafe, I decided to give it a try, and best believe, I won't be giving it another go. The seating area allows barely any move to do anything, and all seats are crammed in, meaning it is very anti-wheelchair, as I discovered when I had to move the table to let somebody by. This however, is the least of my complaints, as I paid £5 for a pizza, which I thought at the time was a good deal. I wasn't expecting a michelin star meal, however I certainly wasn't expecting a Tesco 50p Palm-sized pizza. I understand they need to make money but the size of that pizza was unacceptable compared to the price that was paid for it. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody looking to get their moneys worth. God awful establishment, 1 star!!
