HIDDEN GEM💎 If heaven was a place on earth, it would be Maharaja restaurant. A solid and consistant dining experience with friendly staff. The food is delicious and I can't help but keep coming back for more! The only downside is a lack of parking. Also depending on your budget it may be a bit on the pricer side. I believe that this restaurant could have so many more customers if it was in a more central location. Highly reccomend 🌟
Tried based on the reviews but utterly disappointed with the taste of the food. They have changed the dishes to full extent that they are barely close to original taste. Biryani had lentil (daal channa) in it which I have seen for the first time in my life. Strongly not recommended. The staff however was great and you can park in the adjacent street as well
I ordered out from this place just before Christmas 2025-26 and it was the worst takeaway I had seen in a good while. Rice that was all watery with surplus water in the carton and the rest of the food was terrible.
Well this has to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. You can take in your own wine but not beer however, they do now sell wine. The staff are very nice and friendly. It has been redecorated and looks lovely inside. There are booths down one side making it cosy. The food is fabulous and arrives hot and ranges from mild through to Naga chilli heat. We had the 13.50 meal deal of starter, main, ice cream and a coffee. We upgraded a couple of items and it still came in at under 40 quid for us both including 2 Cobra beers. We had enough left over to do us the following day. They put it onto take out containers for you. It's a must visit if you love a good curry.
Food was brought quickly when finished, well presented and very tasty. Service was excellent they got a tip. Would highly recommend if you want Indian food that is good quality, they do a takeaway service aswell
