Meze Bar & Grill

We visited the restaurant, paid £15.95 for bread. The waitress was nice and that's the only plus of this restaurant. The dish is called Iskender kebab.

Surprisingly nice. My daughter (a student at Hull Uni) recommended going for her birthday. We went on a Sunday lunchtime. From the outside, it lacked a bit of 'kerb appeal' but don't let that put you off. We each had a a starter which were well priced and the right size. The mains were all beautiful though. I had the mixed grill. The skewered chicken was the juiciest grilled chicken I've ever had. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked and the rest of the meat a real treat. My daughter had the Kleftiko and just fell off the bone. It was very quiet (as it was sunday lunch) but the waiter was attentive without being obtrusive. A thoroughly enjoyable meal. Highly recommended.

I have been to meze many times but gradually it is losing its charm, unfortunately. I was there with some friends and while I was waiting, I was never asked if I would like to have something to drink or eat. They were not busy so I wasn't expecting them to make so many mistakes. I ordered drink with food and waited for it till warm meze was served, when asked they said its not available. Shouldn't someone tell me to order something else. The mix grill was hit and miss, some portions were larger than others. Overall, though not busy, but very poor service and food has become average unfortunately. I hope they improve.

I would honestly have to say that this restaurant is by far easily the best in Hull! Every time we come here we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome! The service from all the staff is truly amazing, they genuinely cannot do enough for you! The food here is WOW!! Everything from the cold starters to the mains are fantastic! I mainly get the kebabs, they are always cooked to perfection, I’ve never had an under or over cooked kebab here!! The bead and dips that’s they serve are so fresh, and always have that “just made” taste! To be truthful there really isn’t anything I wouldn’t recommend having! I really can’t wait to go back!

The meal was perfect, my picky eater toddler had a blast, the sis lamb and chips for kids was super great, portion size was massive, my self and husband had 2 different meals and even though we are large eaters we could barely finish them, we had the lamb liver for starters and it was amazing. Will definitely do this again and again. Customer service was excellent Thank you for a lovely evening
