We came here as a group of 10, after another restaurant let us down. So no booking/reservation was made. They told us to come back after an hour, which is very fair, considering our group size. A very intimate restaurant seating area upstairs with food prep/ kitchen downstairs. The food was fresh and amazing. We ordered nearly 100 pieces of sushi and the flavour levels were truely unique and delicious. It was definitely not overpriced, amazing value for money. Thank for accommodating us, it was brilliant birthday treat for me. We will certainly be back. The only thing to note was it was a tad cold in the seating area but the wasabi and picked ginger warmed me up
I’ve only just moved to Hull less than two months ago and have been trying to find delicious restaurants. I came across this one, and I’ve already visited five times in under two months. Besides the amazing flavors, it reminds me of home and brings me comfort while I’m living away from it. Every time I eat here, I feel happy. This place makes me want to stay in Hull
To start with, it was very cold inside — uncomfortably so. The food took around 40 minutes to arrive. While the prices were reasonable, the sushi rolls weren’t the best; the rice was overcooked and they used smoked salmon instead of raw. On a positive note, the staff were lovely and very friendly.
Staff were lovely! Made a fuss of my 9 yr old as it was her birthday. She wanted sushi for lunch so we had a look and chose this quirky little restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and we were stuffed when we left. Cocktails were great too. Great little restaurant and we will definitely be back!
It's a very cute restaurant, intimate and small. The decoration is minimal but it's still a lovely vibe. The service was lovely, especially coming here alone - very welcoming. I ordered two different sushi and they were delicious and you get a lot for the price! Definitely will be back again!
