One Steakhouse & Lounge

Great start to our evening! We arrived for our booked table at 6;30. We are sat downstairs with a lovely atmosphere. By 6:45 we had our drinks and food. We both got a sirloin steak and they were cooked to perfection. We would have preferred more vegetables and potatoes to go with the steak as wasn’t many to pair with it. Sauces were also lovely. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a date night or celebratory dinner for some occasion. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do more to help.

My fiancé and I had a delicious meal here on New Year’s Eve. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely superb, we both had starters and mains. The steak was absolutely gorgeous, in fact we would go as far as to say, some of the best we have ever tasted. The portions may look on the smaller side but we’ve both left absolutely stuffed! The only minor thing was the random (but very good!) saxophonist half way through our meal. If they had turned down the music on the speakers, he would have been truly enjoyable. But apart from that lovely place, lovely staff, even lovelier food. We plan on coming again for our anniversary 😊

First time visiting One steakhouse & Lounge as we are on a weekend break from Carlisle. Absolutely amazing 🤩 We couldn’t decide on starters so we got 3 🤣 The belly pork was absolutely fantastic. The meatballs were beautiful and the garlic mushrooms were spot on! For mains we got the One burger and the Pork with mushroom sauce and mash. Again absolutely delicious couldn’t fault it. The staff are all lovely and polite from the moment we walked in and making sure we didn’t need anything. Massive compliments to the chefs. They have sole talent. The whole place is beautiful. We were sat downstairs as there was a brunch on upstairs but that didn’t ruin our afternoon it was beautiful there too. Would have liked to be upstairs but we chose to come out for tea early :) Thank you so much ♥️

Lovely service from the staff, all food & drinks were absolutely perfect. The rooftop dining area was lovely, can't wait btontry it again in the summer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One Steakhouse Review – “The Malbec Made Me Do It” You know a place is serious about food when the calamari makes you want to text your ex just to brag. Starters were insane – the calamari was light and crisp (basically seafood heaven), the king prawns could’ve walked straight off a beach barbecue, and the scallops were so good I considered clapping. Then came the steak. Perfectly seared outside, juicy inside – cooked exactly how I asked, which is rare enough to deserve a standing ovation. Pair it with the Malbec we ordered and suddenly I’m having deep, emotional conversations with my glass. Honestly, that bottle was so smooth it deserves its own TripAdvisor profile. And let’s not forget the strawberry daiquiri – dangerously drinkable. Sweet, fresh, and the kind of cocktail that tricks you into thinking you’re on holiday until the bill arrives (which, by the way, was totally fair for the quality). The staff? Friendly without being fake. Atmosphere? Modern but cosy. Overall? If heaven has a steakhouse, it probably looks a lot like this place. I’ll definitely be back – partly for the food, mostly for that Malbec.
