First time visit after a recommendation….. I wanted to find a lovely little restaurant for a romantic dinner for myself and my lovely partner, with amazing food… and I found that here👍❤️🇻🇳 What an absolute amazing place to eat. A restaurant with simple decor, but very authentically Vietnamese, also it was very very clean. The young man serving us was very pleasant. The food was exceptional…👍 We had spring rolls for starters and we had 3 main courses one of which was goat and it tasted gorgeous. We can’t wait to visit again soon, thank you for looking after us and serving us the most amazing Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten….. and I’ve visited Viet Nam many times.

Absolutely fantastic place! Wish it was open while I lived in Hull. Very authentic and doesn’t hold back on flavours. The Banh Xeo was perfectly crispy and the chicken and prawn inside nice and soft and not overcooked. The pho bo is super fragrant and the bun hue is even better with nice kick of spice reminded me of bun hue I had on the street outside hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The coffee is standout, I think the best hot Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in England.

Pho Lan is a hidden gem tucked away in plain sight, waiting to be discovered. We stumbled upon it purely out of curiosity, having heard nothing about it beforehand. As our glowing rating suggests, this spot delivers exceptional food, impeccable service, and an all-around unforgettable experience. The cuisine here boasts a level of quality and authenticity that's unmatched anywhere else in the city. While other spots may attempt to replicate Vietnamese flavors, few can rival the high bar set by Pho Lan. What truly sets them apart, though, and is often underappreciated in dining- is their remarkable consistency. It's easy to have one stellar visit, but Pho Lan nails it every time. Over the past year, each of our multiple trips has been flawless, with dishes prepared to the same exquisite standards without fail. The staff elevate the experience even further: warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, they've never once been anything less than delightful. Top marks all around. We could rave on, but the chorus of rave reviews here speaks volumes. Don't hesitate... give Pho Lan a try! We highly recommend starting with the Special Pho; you won't be disappointed.

First meal we have had in here. Food was cooked quick, portion size was decent and prices and great value for money. Will definitely come back
