Beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious cocktails. The Black Forest martini was a delight. The food was ok, weird combination of flavours in the chicken wrap - the flat bread was good though They offer a great choice of gluten free and vegan food
Lovely place. We went on a quiet Tuesday in the middle of the day. Food was served very quickly and the cozy atmosphere, eclectic decor and warm lighting provided a lovely contrast to the dark and grey January weather.
I went in before work, on my own. Felt very welcome. I could sit and relax and enjoy my breakfast without feeling uncomfortable. It was the first going alone and would definitely do it again. Such a lovely place. Food is always delicious 😋 staff work really hard. Would recommend the breakfast. Saying that, all there food is good, 😋 and the coffee, as that to me is just as important to me as the food. It makes my decision if I will go back. I will definitely be back. 😊
I went for lunch with a friend, we both had a bacon and cheese toastie with a side of sweet potato fries. And for desert we had a banoffee, whipped cream and caramel sauce shoux profiterole. The meals were amazing, it has a lovely ambience and we were served by friendly helpful staff. Couldn't fault it, will definitely be going back.
I recently visited Ponto Lounge ahead of a visit to Hull New Theatre. I have visited a number of the ‘Lounges’ and have found the dining experience to be consistently great; Ponto was no exception. Staff were welcoming and professional. I have rated the service as average as with QR code ordering and payment you are more or less serving yourself with the exception of the drinks and food being brought to table. The food arrived quickly after ordering despite the restaurant seeming pretty busy and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was warm and cosy with just the right around of atmospheric lighting (not too dark like other places trying to achieve a similar vibe). I highly recommend Ponto Lounge to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Hull.
