Walked past during the day after seeing the “bring your own alcohol” sign. Sat down, put the bottle on the table, ordered lamb tikka. Texture and flavour matched week-old meat. Ordered butter chicken and butter lamb. Both missed the mark. Chicken was loaded with ghee and had no heat. Lamb was turned into a vindaloo by dumping red chilli powder into it with no balance. Mate asked for chicken vindaloo-style mild hot and didn’t get anything close. Ordered chapati, arrived dry. Asked for butter, ended up doing it myself. Overall execution showed no control, no freshness, no consistency.
We visited this establishment and overall had a lovely time, the food was hot and arrived fast. Service was exceptional and in a timely manner. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the overall dining experience. The true test of a restaurant is the question, would we go back...yes absolutely!!!
We arrived a little after opening time on a Saturday with out reservation. Politely greeted, seated and guided through the menu deciding on a set menu choosing a curry of our choice. Great service, gorgeous food at a great price. The portion sizes where spot on to, not overwhelming and we actually cleared our plates of the yummy food without feeling like a stuffed chicken. We will be back for sure.
Total disgrace. Ordered at 5pm. Called back after 2 hours food on route. 3 hours 12 minutes the next call to be told it's been delivered and they have knocking on the door. "Obviously not our door". Asked for a refund to be told to go through just eat. Sorry Lime no more order's form this house any more.
Ordered food from here tonight I cannot recommend them enough. We live 2 miles away the food arrived in good time and was piping hot. Not to mention very good value and really tasty. Thank you for your brilliant service.
