It's cheap but if you want a film set for a zombie apocalypse movie, then this is ideal. Very dated and the fire alarm panel was activating an alert on our way out and there was still an issue several hours later on our return......

I used it after googling best car park for Hull New Theatre. It was for a matinee performance on a Saturday, so this car park was ideal. As out of towners, who haven't used it before, it was a shock to learn that you can only pay cash! I had enough change for one of us but there were two cars in our party. The machine doesn't give change. I wasn't putting in a £20 note for three quid! There are instructions on the wall about how to pay by text which we followed but this did not work. Despite waiting ages, the call it says you will get never arrived! Eventually, one of us set off to a shop to get some change whilst another went onto the council website, where there were some instructions about on line payments. We followed them and hopefully all was well. There is anpr, so we're hoping everything did work ok and payment was recognised and we don't get a ticket in the post! The location for the theatre is fab, literally a few minutes walk. Great for a matinee performance, not sure it's open on a night. I'd recommend it for day time use-but take coins!!!

A very convenient multi story carpark. A few minutes walk from the old town and museums etc. Busy but lots of spaces. We were there for 2 nights and no issues. £3 for 24 hours starting from when you arrive. Great value.

George street car is great for it ease of access and it’s location. It can be accessed from hull college and city center. The only thing is that it’s always crowded and it’s because it can fit about 550 cars so all offices and shops around park in this car park. With just £3 for 24 hours parking, it’s worth it.

Paying via anything but cash in the car park is really confusing. We went to a theatre performance and I thought we could park here as it is very nearby. I haven't been to Hull before so wasn't aware that you could park on the street for free (which we ended up doing). It was absolutely dead in the carpark so we found a space really easy however we didn't realise that you needed cash to pay for the parking. We didn't have any so tried to contact the number on the sign and waited for a reply, which we never received. We then just left as we couldn't figure out how to pay. If you're coming just for the evening then I don't think its worth parking here.
