Update; parking fine cancelled but WARNING AS THIS IS RIDICULOUS Their reason "Your vehicle was parked for 2 hours, 16 minutes, but you only booked 2 hours, 13 minutes, 44 seconds for your parking session, which resulted in a parking charge" Response attached. (Parking charge is the same for 2h16m and 2h13m44s) So therefore you cannot pay whilst you are in the building as you do not given a grace period to leave the parking facility. PARKING FINE INCORRECTLY ISSUED I have been given a parking fine for non payment when I have proof of purchase and statements. Will be appealing and will update with decision. Parked here successfully for years and was my preferred place in Hull Not happy about the incorrect demand for £100.
Parked here a couple of weeks ago & I paid for my stay. I have now received £100 fine to say I didn’t pay! I will be appealing & will not be paying! Sounds like a scam as a number of people have had the same!
Car park was ok, but Just Park app is extortionate. 99p for "service fee" on every transaction, so pay at machine it's cheaper. There are NO visible prices before you enter the car park, but plenty of QR codes allowing you to give them money. What a rip-off. Not many alternatives though as Council randomly shut off spaces at Osbourne Street.
Princes Quay car parking is unreasonable and not customer friendly. The charges are extortionate compared with other car parks in Hull. The pricing structure creates a negative experience for anyone visiting the centre. It actively discourages people from using the facility and reduces footfall. The cost is not justified by the service provided. I would not recommend this car park to anyone looking for fair or sensible pricing.
Absolute robbery. I've just been charged £6 for 4 hours and 18 minutes parking. There is a sign outside that says £4 for 24hr. There is no machines inside even though it says pay when leaving. You have to find a sign that has a QR code on it or tells you which app you have to download. The whole setup is designed to catch you out. The only good thing about this car park was that there were plenty of spaces. There's a reason why the one around the corner was full!!
