I have been with the practice since I came to Hull as a student in the early 90's. Quite sad Dr Nayar has retired though. She was a fabulous GP. Proper down to earth but amazing. She helped me through my late partner dying by getting me counselling and was ongoing massively supportive of my severely learning disabled child now adult. I've always found the reception staff to be helpful. I don't attend the surgery much and wait times usually about 2 weeks ( about standard in current times afaik)but when I have usually for bloods or something to do with my child the nursing staff and doctors have been really good.

As someone with mental health problems this practice is totally inaccessible and quite frankly awful. The receptionist is blunt, passive aggressive and rude. I get it’s probably a hard job but the anxiety I get trying to book an appointment is made so much worse by this woman. My prescription is always being messed around. Im only allowed a months worth of my medication at a time and there’s always a problem meaning I run out and have to go through an absolute ordeal. The Dr is absolutely awful with mental health too. I get the impression he doesn’t really ‘believe’ in it, and I’ve been asked questions I’m sure aren’t necessary or professional, such as “why are you depressed at 22?” I cry almost every time I get off the phone with this practice. It’s so horrible and makes accessing support and my proper medication so much more difficult. Don’t sign up to this practice if you can help it.

Staff at the front desk is often times rude and short. The nurses are friendly though. Too small a practice to get the services you need in a timely fashion. Appointments are usually 5 to 7 days after the day you schedule them. The doctor I have is slightly dismissive and seemed to have forgotten that she's seen me before until she looked at my file. If it weren't for the easy to access location, I would switch surgeries without a doubt

Receptionists are rude and can be clearly heard from the waiting area complaining about patients in a manner that has been reported numerous times due to safeguarding concerns and general impoliteness. Male doctors are nice and helpful for the most part but at the moment I am looking at waiting 3 weeks with no appointment in sight for an important issue. This is not the first time this has occurred. I am in the process of switching doctors which should have been done a long time ago

The doctors are good if you can get past reception in order to secure an appointment. One Receptionist in particular is extremely rude. When you call it's as though you are bothering her. She refuses to be helpful and tells you things like: why don't you write that in a fax I mentioned to her directly that I was going to complain and she said "go ahead I am not bothered" And you can tell she means it... she has no care for any particular individual or any situation and it's clearly just the job that pays for her. Avoid ringing on a Tuesday Or better yet avoid grumpy Marge..
