Far better booking an appointment via the NHS app. The phone line was a complete joke. Five different surgeries all on the same telephone number was never going to work. I'd ring bang on 08:00 and get through only to be told that the surgery was closed. Ring back straight away to be told that there were already more than a hundred callers and to hang up and try later. Using the app to explain your health issue so that you can be directed to the appropriate clinician is definitely a step in the right direction. Well done. Immediately after booking my appointment, I received a phone call from the surgery asking whether student clinicians could be present. Fine by me as we need new blood. Two very nice young ladies working towards their Masters Degrees questioned and examined me before discussing my options with the GP. Plan of action agreed and all is well with a reasonable plan of action to find out what is happening to me.

I found the experience much better than the old practice appointments. The waiting area is much more spacious allowing for better access for mobility aids of visitors and patients might need which also makes a better experience for those that don’t need assistance. Staff I met were considerate and efficient.

Staff friendly, no problems. Low rating due to triage form. I do not principally mind this new form of getting an appointment but your triage form is very user unfriendly when I compare it with another surgery of a relative. None of the questions were relevant to my problem, this was confirmed by your lovely receptionist which I rang and asked for help. A box to add some comments would be beneficial. Thanks

Went for my sons pre-school vaccines. Nurse was lovely. Very kind and caring. He explained everything that was going to happen and he was so patient with my son, really took his time with him and made sure he was ok.

Saw GP yesterday to try and get an update regarding recent GP/cardiologist correspondence following my raised BP and possible medication concerns. GP helpful/friendly, information on system seemed to be misleading. Plans to change medication was cancelled today. Previous GP now seeking psychiatrist advice regarding fibromyalgia medication and adhd medication. I am frustrated and have no helpful updates, my mental health is deteriorating, adhd medication was helping but not ideal when/if I can resume. This matter has been ongoing for approximately three months, I am not satisfied with progress so far. When will I have a resolution? Communication needs improvement, delays are impacting on mental health.
