Newington Surgery (Haxby Group)

If I could take away stars I would! Where do I begin...? The service they give is terrible. Prescribing me tablets without even a Doctor speaking with me about it, only found out from the pharmasist. Then when I try to contact a Doctor to discuss the new medication I spend over half an hour in a telephone queue, finally got to speak to a human for them to then cut me off whilst they had me on hold again. This is only the tip of the iceburg. I could rant all day.

Had some issues with haxby previously, but today the only option I was offered was to go to hull royal walk in centre even tho I explained that I'm physically disabled and unable to attend on my own.the member of staff I spoke to was rude and just kept repeating the same sentence over and over without taking my disability into account or offering any other advice. Wasn't even a doctor that I spoke to . rude and lacking empathy,would definitely recommend changing doctors if possible

Carnt beleave my doctors wants to give me a appointment for 4 weeks time iv had a system of suspect prostrate cancer and im.waiting for a scan witch iv rang up hospital myself I'm in pain so our doctor are a joke I'm not very happy with them iv tried going through treearge but a waste of time iv been waiting some time and been to doctors a few time with this they always say if you have system s go see your doctor but to me its not true

They don't help you. The Dr told me I'd had a stroke and sent me home... I went to the hospital off my own back turns out I have PPMS. Far cry from a stroke.

Terrible, My Wife did got surgery on 10 Of July, She was supposed to work but she was calling sick line a week as the law works, on 22 of July on gp appoitment requested sick note in the clinic one of the nurse say not an issue , later they send a message through the link up to what date do we need we reply, next day called them they say they cant see the message and asked same question and they said they will foward as soon as it's signed off and then they send a message that sick Note will be issued 31 Backdated, I called explained situation that is already 2nd week when we calling sick line and my workplace asking for the sicknote otherwise they have to take Suspension acction but they don't care, so you have to go work with the stiches take a risk to lift over 5kg boxes when u not allowed to lift more then 3kg, risking to get internal leak to not lose the job because of terrible GP...... Avoid this GP they effect you Mentally , After hard times dragging more you to the bottom till you end up......
