Partner off to Hull for a business trip. Originally tried to charge over in Doncaster, but that was a disaster, he charged over here instead. Initially worked well but then cut off due to a communication error, rather inconvenient. It seemed to have started working again though. Great to see a few chargers at hand here, so wouldn’t have been a problem if a few were already in use. Handy location too, could always pop over for a coffee whilst your car is charging!
I am more than sure you have this feedback all of the time. I was unable to charge using either my all star fuel card. Or any of my debit or credit cards. I have to open the app and use that instead. The person next to me also had the same experience. With respect I prefer to use InstaVolt as they work all the time.
Contactless payment wasn't available on any of the chargers. Thankfully I had my BP pulse card and app. Just be aware that on the chargers at Hedon Road, Hull all say from 1st January contactless payment isn't available 'but should be soon'
Really easy to use and usually a number of bays are available. This time I was the only one, although another joined later. It's in the carpark of Costa and next to a Lidl, so you can get a coffe or shopping while waiting.
Could not use my debit card as the feature has been temporarily disabled. I had to get the BP-Pulse app and register my card in the app.
