Shepherds treat us with compassion and kind understanding from the initial phone call through to visiting to discuss arrangements. Glen made a very daunting situation tolerable. His attention to detail and patience made it all the easier - this is clearly not ‘just a job’ to Glen, as he went above and beyond to put us at ease immediately, fulfilling our wishes and treated us with kindness at every opportunity. My grateful thanks to all involved. We are now looking at our own Funeral Plan such was the dignity and empathy shown.

Winter Memorial Service at Hull Minster. The whole evening was very emotional, from meeting with John Guiness again, to then connecting with friends at the end of the service. Having experienced a year like no other, the service itself was a time for reflection; sad, uplifting and beautiful. I thank A Shepherd & Sons for the evening.

At my late mothers funeral pam longley, Neil i think his name was, was very unprofessional constantly smiling and laughing to himself, looked very lonely standing there looking scruffy. I hope in the future, he takes more pride in his appearance and how he behaves.
