Got my thermostat changed here, shortly after my car started having issues. Which we now believe was a faulty thermostat, which is getting changed again regardless, This could also be due to the car running properly, and the engine could of been overheating without me knowing, which may have been case however before the gasket potentially blew which is to be confirmed it wasn’t bleed properly, it made a swooshing sound when accelerating, and the coolant was not topped up by the garage. When paying 140 for a repair you assume you’d Atleast get coolant topped up. The car shortly after started revving without accelerating I then took it to the garage, they said it’s may be head gasket and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that the issue they fixed caused another issue. The garage still wanted to charge me to tow it, which they didn’t suggest until I mentioned not driving it when I’ve now got a 800+ plus pound operation to do on the car which they won’t do. To conclude, I believe they could have handled themselves better, I trusted this garage as I had a check a few days prior, and decided to then use them for the service. Which they may of not done to their best ability. For mots and other repairs, clearly a good garage, and do great for other customers, I’m just the unlucky one however maybe best to leave thermostat repairs to other garages elsewhere.

I needed an MOT doing urgently for my daughters car as it had expired and was needed with her moving. I called And Son Garage looking for an appointment the following day and unfortunately they didn't have any availability. However, they suggested I bring the car down at 09:00 and leave with them and they would fit it in between jobs or if any booked appointments failed to appear. I left the car at 09:00 and it was complete and collected by 13:00!! I travelled 80 miles to sort this for my daughter so if they let me down it would have been a complete waste of time but they didn't. Seemed to be a great set of lads, really helped me out at very short notice and were true to their word! Amazing service and we'll be using And Son for all MOTs and repairs whilst my daughter is living in Hull. Thanks!!

A really positive experience. I was very desperate to get a quick repair and MOT after my car failed MOT. Not only I got an excellent service, I also got a price was less than half the other garage's that failed my MOT offered me. I definitely recommend them.

If you have anything wrong with your car. Go here. They’ll do it quick and at a just and honest price. Was expecting to pay x4 the service price. Thank you guys!

Amazing. My car broke down on the Saturday and I got it recovered to them because of a recommendation. They got it in the garage on Monday afternoon and fixed it by Wednesday. As a girl who doesn’t know much about cars, I am always sceptical about garages scamming me out of my money but the men here were really helpful and provided me what I needed, without trying to sell me the extras. They gave me advice on what to do with my car for the future, to make sure that problem didn’t happen again. They kept me informed the whole way through fixing my car, and I was very happy overall with their service. Will definitely be back, thanks.
