I booked my car in because it had what looked like a slow oil leak. The garage got me in within about a week, which I appreciated. They diagnosed the issue for £45 and told me a seal near the driveshaft needed replacing. I was told they would source the part and call me the next day and have it booked in for the following week. Unfortunately, that’s where things went downhill. I never received the promised call, so I rang them myself and was told they’d get back to me the following morning. Again, no call. I tried contacting them later that day, but at that point they simply stopped responding altogether. I would’ve appreciated honesty if they didn’t want to or couldn’t take on the job. Instead, I ended up wasting time, especially frustrating as I was due to move away from Hull within the next couple of weeks. Overall, really disappointed with the lack of communication. EDIT: I initially left a one star review due to poor communication after my car’s diagnostics. Afterward, the garage contacted me, apologised, and refunded the diagnostic fee. I appreciate the follow-up and resolution, though I hope communication is clearer in the future.

Used this garage recently and will be using again but hopefully not too soon. New spark plugs and cell pack fitted very quickly. Excellent communication and very good service at a reasonable price.

First time using these guys. Took car in for MOT. It failed sadly, although car getting on a bit, so not entirely a shock. All necessary remedial works were clearly explained and costed though. Work was done promptly, and communication was good. Car was ready on time, and final bill actually a little less than originally advised. Can't really ask for more than that. Will definitely use again

Brilliant Customer Service! Reasonable prices - I requested a 7:00am waiting appointment for my cars MOT. They arrived before 7:00am, set up and completed my car within the hour. It's the first time visiting the garage. However, won't be the last.

I booked my car in for an engine light diagnostic and clearly explained to the garage that I suspected an issue with the DPF or EGR. When I dropped the car off, I stayed for about 20 minutes and they handed me paperwork showing the same basic code I already knew about. They never put the car on the ramp or carried out any proper checks – just plugged in an OBD scanner. Their diagnosis was completely wrong. I took the car to a different garage the same day, and they correctly identified the issue as faulty EGR, not anything to do with the DPF. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Very disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone looking for a proper diagnostic. I need my refund !!
