Had a very unfortunate experience here on my wedding day, as they hadn't booked me for a trial and my hairdresser genuinely didn't seem to know how to do a half-up-half-down simple hairdo and ended up making me an hour and a half late for my bridal prep. The first three "styles" were nothing like what I asked for nor the reference photo, first was a small lopsided beehive, second a smaller beehive but with what looked like lady lips sticking out under it, third was another backcombed style which resembled nothing like the half-up ponytail in the picture, by this point I was ready to walk out and cry but thankfully she asked for advice from an experienced colleague who explained how to do a ponytail. She still chose to ignore this, no elastic was in my hair, but at least it was pinned up into a half-up ponytail. The curls I was promised to last hours then turn to beachy waves fell out within half an hour of me being home doing my makeup and my Bridesmaids had to get the curling tongs out whilst also feeding me pizza and putting my shoes on as I was made so late. After rushing, i was still 10 minutes late to my own ceremony, had no time to put in my veil and missed out on so much prep time bonding with my Bridesmaids. I know it's a very lovely place for a haircut, and the staff are genuinely lovely people, but this really ruined the morning of my wedding so I won't be coming back.

I went to Auburn Hair, Hull today as recommended by my daughter-i -law. I was not disappointed. I was made to feel so welcome by Kelsey and the other girls. She listened to my questions and gave me lots of advice. I love my new colour so much 😍 Thanks again Kelsey and I will see you in 6 weeks for a trim 😁

Kitty was amazing today so kind and understanding which i really appreciate. I needed my hair cut much shorter ready for chemo i kept my long hair for my girls and kitty gave me a gorgeous short bob beautifully cut. Thank you kitty so much for making this so much easier me i feel fantastic and you did that 🥰 x

1000/10. The staff are so lovely and friendly. They are very comfortable to be around and it is a great atmosphere. It is a nice clean environment too. I am autistic and I feel at ease and safe at this hairdressers. I am glad I found the courage to arrange my appointments! 😀 Special thanks to Kayley! She is very attentive to details and has great skills. I love my new hair cut and I will be back in the future😁
