Honestly, just got over the ordeal of having my hair cut here. I paid a £25 deposit for a consultation with a ‘curly hair specialist’. Firstly she told me she does not consult as people end up unhappy, which I felt already really uncomfortable with and my gut instinct is to walk away, but I had paid a £25 deposit. She told me my hair was not ‘that curly, more wavy’ and even though I told her I had not washed for a week and had braided it back, she ignored that and just continued. I wish I was more confident but I’m not, and when she started cutting I knew it was wrong but let it happen anyway. I felt so upset during the whole cut, I should have said from the start that I was so uncomfortable but I didn’t and of course that is my fault, but I could tell on her face when she started to diffuse my hair that she knew she messed up as she looked shocked and said ‘wow, it really bounces up’ to me. I was so upset, and honesty it took me 5 months to make better, only attaching a picture to evidence the absolute mess I actually paid a lot of money for. Why did I walk out instead of saying something? I’m a shy person who doesn’t like awkward confrontation 😞

I was incredibly nervous about a new style after 6 years of no hair cuts. Evie was absolutely wonderful and talked me through every step and why she was doing it. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, and made me fall in love with my hair again! The salon itself has an incredible aesthetic with very welcoming staff and a warm atmosphere. I'll never go anywhere else for a haircut now, I couldn't recommend Mousey Browns enough! Thanks again Evie ❤️

Leonna was fantastic and super kind! She cut my hair exactly like I wanted and was super attentive and professional ! She was also great to talk to ☺️ the whole staff team is always so kind!

I had my hair cut with Sarah and am really happy with the result. I do get anxious about going to the hairdresser as have curly hair and often stylists do not understand how to cut it. Sarah was amazing, she listened to my concerns and cut it dry, a bit at a time so I was in control of how short to go. It's now looking super bouncy and healthy. Thank you so much Sarah. Been getting my haircut with Maddie a year now, she’s really helped me find the style I want and gives great ideas on what would suit me. Fully trust her to take the wheel, as I can be indecisive! Always leave the salon confident with my hair stunning (not to brag lol). Couldn’t recommend them more! Thank ya :)
