Brilliant, clean & convenient. The XL washing machines and drier are a life saver! I'd recommend avoiding Saturday & Sunday afternoon as these are the busiest times
Hi, This launderette has recently (October 2023) had new owners who have rebuilt the launderette from the ground. Unfortunartently google have merged the old goolge account with the new ones, please consider that all negative reviews are before the full refit which opened Decemeber 2023. New washers & dryers and made it is now exceptional nice to visit. You can now pay by card or phone at the paypoint or on the machines directly, as well as still using coins. XL Washers are 40lb/18kg which can handle largest of duvets and loads Washer at 20lb/9kg which is great value with lots of settings compared to previously. XL Dryer is great and can take upto a super king duvet with room to spare. 6 other new dryers which have new settings including delicate, they are really efficient and dry clothes quicker then before. Lovely seating and folding area too. You can also park next to the launderette or in street behind. Much improved and great to see!
I'll share my views as ive used this place recently but ive nothing but good things to say, easy to use, plenty of machines and very clean inside, very simple its a 10/10 and will be back soon.
Location is beneficial and I come here often but been left disappointed multiple times by the dryers as our clothes are coming out smelling burnt and food odour which is very frustrating as the smell is awful and have ended up rewashing our clothes. Please check the dryer vents as it may require cleaning as it never used to be like this. I found that this is with all the dryers as I’ve tried multiple times and each time, the clothes have come out smelling awful.
Excellent laundrette and open till 9pm which is a massive plus
