I attempted to contact the business by phone but was unable to reach anyone at the front desk. Upon arriving in person, I waited approximately ten minutes before being assisted, as no staff were present at the counter. When I was finally served, I was informed that my key could not be cut because it was “too difficult,” despite the shop being advertised as having high-quality equipment. I then visited another key-cutting service nearby, where the key was cut successfully within ten minutes and without any wait. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I was able to receive prompt and effective service elsewhere.

I stupidly locked myself out, meaning I had to vandalise my lock to got back in. Mark was absolutely fantastic at providing me with a cost effective, honest solution to a replacement for my old very expensive union night lock. To top it all, as I live 30 minutes from Hull and needed it ASAP for a quick repair, Mark and his colleague evenoffered to stay a few minutes later after shutting in case I got held up ... what a super, customer focused attitude. Thank you again ... I would without hesitation recommend anyone who is using scewfix, toolstation etc. to give A B Rooms a try. Local companies deserve our business especially when they provide such a friendly, can do attitude.

AB Rooms & Son Ltd give a first-class professional service. I have used them for a few years the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have taken old obscure key blanks to be cut and always had quick service. They also have a wide range of safes.

Brilliant service, really friendly and professional, and came the following morning with a selection of safes and fitted and demonstrated it before leaving. Would definitely recommend.
