I just don't have words to say how much disappointed I am from this pharmacy. Booked a flue appointment for my husband for today 18.10 @ 11:30am. He went after work and was poorly mistreated by the pharmacist or the manager there, not sure which one. He was asked to fill a form of why he is exempt of paying, I believe but due to not reading and writing in English very well, he asked the assistant there for help. She told him that she will ask her manager, so when the manager came she totally dismissed his request for help and told him to call his wife to help him filling the form. When he challenged her that he only needs help with filling this form, she called the police on him. I don't know how, but they attended. It just blows my mind that asking for help is a crime now. Especially when you are in a pharmacy, the people who are there to care for you. If she just had the care and compassion, which she should have working for the NHS, she would have found that he has carrier thalassemia and his thyroid was taken out recently due to cancer. That is why the GP allowed him to book flue vaccine free of charge, because he is immunosuppressed. What is the world turning into? Please educate the staff in your pharmacy in Customer Service, Care and Compassion.
This pharmacy are rude. 4 people behind the counter today, only me in the shop. And didn’t even get an acknowledgement from the 4 staff. I waited a while, still nothing. I had to get to another appointment so had to walk out without my medication. Terrible, rude face to face service. I’ve actually gone as far as changing my nominated pharmacy as a result of this so I never have to go there again.
Extremely poorly run since the move. Unaware of lunch closers for an hour. 20secs after 1pm told it's shut. Been unable to collect medication for few days due illness. They showed no consideration and lacked of emphify. If it similar for other patients I can guess it gives more work for the doctors and themselves. Plus more stress Ect.
I visited with symptoms of an ear infection and asked to speak with the pharmacist. After explaining that I felt unwell, the pharmacist immediately told me that feeling sick couldn’t be related to an ear infection, which I know is not accurate. He then went on to say that they cannot prescribe antibiotics to anyone over the age of 17. I’m 26 and have previously been prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis at a chemist, so this didn’t make sense. I also searched online and couldn’t find any reference to such a rule.
Good pharmacy overall. Understaffed on a saturday. The staff are always polite and courteous.
