I recently visited the post office to collect some foreign currency. The process was quick and straightforward. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making sure I had everything I needed and answering my questions. A smooth and hassle free process.

Wow. What has happened to the customer service in here. I wouldn't mind but it's the same staff that used to be friendly. The past couple of times I've been in here, the staff have been so rude. I feel as if they're trying to squeeze every penny from the customer whenever trying to send anything. I attempted to send a very light and well packaged item just now. It was only a keyring and worth about a fiver (£5). Granted it wouldn't go through the smallest size gage, but it would easily have gone through the second size measurement. I queried this and I was polite in doing so. I've worked within a retail environment so I'm aware not to be abusive to staff but this lady was so argumentative. I therefore advised I would be putting in a complaint and she called the manager over and then refused to serve me because I (once again very politely) asked if I could have a receipt so I could put a complaint in. I then took my phone out to document the time etc. and the member of staff started shouting I wasn't allowed to take any pictures or videos. I wouldn't dream of this! Honestly what a shocking experience today.

Lovely post office.unlike the one shared by Asda kingswood, this one is large and sells envelopes, stamps, all the stuff to send parcels, and a nice money belt that’s minimal but the pouch stretches for money to stash! The staff are always friendly and very helpful.Managers from other stores should come in and see how serving staff should be with their customers! I’m glad this is still open when many have closed since another privatisation by the cons went wrong!

I popped in to post a parcel and also make a deposit on Friday 7th February. I know how busy this Post Office can be but this time it was almost empty with just one gentleman already being served and me next in the queue. I was served by Nikki who, like myself, had been waving at a little boy in a pushchair that had been with the previous customer. Nikki was lovely and friendly, took take of getting my parcel shipped in a efficiant, timely manner along with double checking I was depositing the right amount of money. It's always nice to be greeted with a smile whilst running errands but to be served by someone who was so lovely to have a quick chat with was a breathe of fresh air! I don't think I've ever come across a rude or bad member of staff in this Post Office so keep up the good work everyone, you're doing a great job!

I’d like to recognise and thank Nikki for her help today at the post office. She was incredibly kind and helpful. I wouldn’t have guessed it was her first week on the job. Nikki has a natural talent for working with people. Wishing you all the best and good luck in your endeavours, Nikki. You’re fantastic!
