Ace and Quick Moves

DO NOT USE Had the worst experience with Ace and Quick Removals. As they were loading, they informed me that they were not able to fit everything on the van. Pete had visited the property prior to the move and quoted accordingly. I gave them the opportunity to see how they was going to sort this to which they did not provide a solution. I was moving out of Hull, on the day, there were issues with my sale and therefore the keys were delayed. Pete and Pete decided that they were not willing to wait and if I didn’t have an update by 1:30pm they would unload and I’d have to find another company (with a bigger van) to move me. I informed the chain to which I was then going to incur charges for not being able to move that day. Then luckily, issues with the solicitors were resolved, however Pete and Pete had left my property to make their way to my new location. My family had to start moving items out of my old house that had been left behind. After receiving the keys late on Friday night) I then had to drive back (1h Drive) continue to move items out of my old house and was still clearing at 8pm at night. When speaking with Pete and Pete, I expressed that many items had been left behind (sent pictures) and I was happy to work with them to either move the rest of the items for no additional charge or they refund some of the money. I was told we’ll talk on Monday. Monday came and I was blocked. Tried to call from other phone numbers to resolve the situation, each time Pete did not have time to talk or would put the phone down. I decided to move the items myself it took SEVEN car loads to get all my items to my new property which was over an hour away from my old property. Pete is refusing to take my calls or refund as appropriate. I am shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism and decency shown during this very stressful event. No solutions provided. DO NOT USE these cowboys. They are not worth your time, money and disgusting customer service. Move date: 19th September 2025

Pete, Pete, and their friend (I think Linda was her name) helped us move our full house and were beyond brilliant. Excellent communication, very reasonable quote/price. They were extremely professional and very fast. Will definitely use again, and recommend highly to others. Lovely people!

Pete and Pete have provided the best service today. They moved an entire patio of large, heavy garden planters (including small trees) with no breakages. Thanks so much! We will definately be in touch to move the rest of the house when we are ready.

Great service today from Peter and Carl! They responded to my initial enquiry on Friday with a slot on Saturday morning, were very competitive price-wise and carried out the job pretty much to time- which considering the state of the roads in Hull is remarkable! They were both very friendly and obliging, kept us informed of their whereabouts and delivered our bed frame with care and efficiency. They didn’t even moan about having to use the lift to our first floor flat! Highly recommended 🤩👍
