I had the absolute pleasure of having my bespoke wedding suit made by Cock of the Walk, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Gill was incredibly attentive – she really listened to what I was looking for, offered thoughtful suggestions, and ultimately delivered a stunning, high-quality suit that I absolutely loved wearing on the day. So many of our friends and family commented on how great it looked! Gill’s meticulous attention to detail and clear passion for her craft really stood out, and she made the whole tailoring process enjoyable and stress-free. The entire team at Cock of the Walk were warm, friendly, and incredibly patient, making me feel completely looked after from start to finish. I’m so grateful for the care and skill that went into making the suit – it was everything I hoped for and more. I can’t recommend Gill and the team highly enough.

These guys saved my wedding! I went to them for a bespoke shirt to be made as I wasn't going to find a shirt anywhere that fit me with the body shape that I have. My now wife emailed them to query whether they would be able to do some alterations of the suit I had already purchased but wasn't happy with the fit of at all. The magic they worked on my suit made sure that I felt amazing on my big day. The staff are absolutely lovely and Gill is an absolute diamond of a woman- all absolutely amazing at what they do. I HIGHLY recommend them if you want to feel amazing in whatever they create for you. I have a fair few insecurities with my body and size but on my wedding day I just felt like a million dollars and non of that entered my head once. My absolute favourite was the beautiful touch of them rebacking my waistcoat with a beautiful pink floral fabric to make me stand out from everyone else who had the same suit on. I cannot thank them enough.

Don’t normally write reviews but all I will say is what an experience it is to have a a suit made by these. From start to finish nothing is to much trouble and the end product is just amazing. Even after the wedding they have gone over and above to make sure everything is perfect. You won’t ever be disappointed.

I got my wedding suit made their for my wedding in April. I got measured and fitted for my suit at least 5/6 times but the unimaginable happened my trousers split all down the inside of my leg just after I had walked down the Isle as I'm sure you can imagine this devastated me on my wedding day. The staff were very apologetic about this happening which is why I have been generous and given them a 3 star rating. Maybe there just not used to making women's trousers. I was happy with the waistcoat which is also why I have given 3 stars.

Outstanding service from Gill and her team. I recommend to all if it us quality you want from a tailor/taileress'
