I’d like to share my recent experience with Furniture Depot Hull so other customers can make an informed choice. I placed an order in‑store just before Easter 2025 and arranged delivery for the first working day after the Easter Bank Holiday, specifically before 12 p.m. I even took the morning off work to be at home. When my order hadn’t arrived by noon, I rang the store. They was told to me that the van would now come between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. - a four hour delay of which I had received no prior notice. Because of this, I lost valuable work time. I asked whether the company could offer a partial refund or any form of goodwill gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience. My request was refused, the call ended abruptly, and no apology was given. Lack of communication and basic courtesy is disappointing from a company that relies on customer trust. Since no effort was made to put things right, I cancelled the order and get my full refund for these items. I hope Furniture Depot Hull will reconsider its customer ‑ service approach - timely updates, respect for customers’ schedules, and a simple “sorry” go a long way.

Why put the delivery driver's phone number as the main number of the business? Makes no sense. Said it would be delivered in the morning. Mid afternoon, still nothing, so I called. Person said he will call back in a couple of mins, but never did. I called 20 mins later, then 30 mins later a couple of times and couldn't get through. He called back, complained and moaned about me calling. At delivery, he was rude, delivered in anger and went off in a huff. Very unprofessional. Why put delivery man's number on the invoices and on the shop front if you don't want calls? Unpleasant experience has put us off this place, sorry.

Scammed my poor elderly mum by not giving her money back after not delivering a sofa on the 6th Feb, finally delivered two weeks later after she had to constantly go in and call them.... They then delivered the wrong sofa!! And then the owner spoke to her so badly, like everything is her fault and threatened her with trading standards, which makes no sense! They still have her money, and refuse to give her it back even though she has cancelled and given them more than enough chances. Terrible experience

Been waiting for a week should of had my chair today had to ring up 9 times was told Tuesday now not very happy need to learn some communications skills and let me know what's going on really not happy at all gonna get my money back n go elsewhere please people do not buy from these people they're ripoffs and they just mess you about and don't care about the customers only. One and they talk a load of crap and say they don't carry money (what shop doesn't have cash in rhe shop)

Scammed my old parents. Furniture turned up late. The quality is awful they are supposed to replace parts have not. Cushions have sunk in days. Bottom had fallen apart had to pin. They don't turn up when say.
