Peach Hampers

AVOID! We decided to venture away from the comfort of Fortnum and Mason in 2020 to offer our client list a more personalised Christmas hamper. We came to Peach Hampers as, on paper, the company looks very professional and trusthworthy, but this could not be further from the truth. In our 2020 orders, we ordered multiple hampers on one order, with Peach Hampers succeeding in getting every single personalised message/product selection wrong. You can imagine the embarrassment when clients opened up a hamper that was not for them, with a personalised message for another company! Needless to say, we went back to reliable Fortnum and Mason for a few years, but then decided this year, we’d bite the bullet and give Peach Hampers another go so we could get that personalised touch. This time, after learning from our mistakes, we thought we’d make their job easier by doing each of our 10 orders individually, with 10 different payments, so it would be IMPOSSIBLE for them to mess it up. Well, guess what? A few days later, we had a call from one of our clients thanking us for our kind gift, but asking why it was addressed to an entirely different client in the personalised message. This time around, the issue was isolated to two clients, but we could not believe that it had happened again. Also, as Peach Hampers were (unsurprisingly) unaware of how many of our clients this error had spread to, we were forced to embarrassingly ask each of our clients if they received the correct message. How this has happened between completely separate orders is not only alarming, but also potentially a huge breach of GDPR, thanks to what we can only assume is an incredibly unorganised and slapdash system running at Peach Hampers HQ. We reached out to Peach Hampers who offered to send out the correct item/message to one of the affected parties, but then soon went quiet after we demanded a refund for the customers involved. So, as the title states, please AVOID Peach Hampers, unless you want to potentially embarrass yourself to your clients unnecessarily.

We've used Peach Hampers for a number of years for our Christmas Hampers and we always receive excellent feedback from our customers. They're helpful and beautiful made, would definitely recommend.
