Untill today the other stuff were good and polite. i went to the store to buy just one packet, but I could not find the specific item. I asked a colleague for help. The item was on the bottom shelf, and she pointed to it using her leg several times. I felt uncomfortable and told her that pointing at a product with her leg felt disrespectful. She replied, “It’s my place of work,” which shocked me because I felt it was rude. I then decided to leave the store without buying anything. As I was walking toward the exit, she came back and said she was pregnant and could not bend down. I replied that she did not need to bend down at all—she could have simply pointed with her hand and explained that she was pregnant. I felt the situation could have been handled politely, but instead it felt disrespectful. I have worked in retail before, so I understand customer service and how staff should communicate with customers. Another colleague joined the situation but did not ask what had happened or try to understand the issue. I understand that working in a store can be very difficult, especially during pregnancy. However, that does not give anyone the right to be rude, unprofessional, or make a customer feel this way. Such a shame for Tesco.
The staff are always really polite and friendly . Just moved to the area and so far pretty happy and 5 mins walk from my home. Bit more expensive than the big ones but for bits and bobs I don’t mind as it’s easy .
The stuff decided to close at 10pm instead of 11pm which is the official closing time, written both on the store entrance and in Google and they were very rude when I asked them to let me go in and shop. I think the consumer watchdog should check these things and fine stores that don’t respect opening hours
Got some pop tarts paid full price for them and realised they where a month out of date 4 boxes on shelf out of date and was refusing to refund but eventually did
Went there for an emergency product for my wife closed ten minutes early ..I knocked on the window and was told no we are closed ...absolutely disgusting
