One year after purchasing 2 bikes from Jobes I’m happy to make a review. Raleigh bikes have been excellent and well used. Service from Jobes has been excellent. If you want a good quality e-bike make sure you visit this business.

Absolutely shocking experience with Jobes Cycles in Hull. I ordered a bike for my daughter’s 4th birthday over a week and a half ago and went to collect it on 26th July, the day before her birthday on the 27th July. When I inspected the bike outside the store, I was horrified by the condition: scratches all over the frame, a large scrape down to the metal, marks on the seat post, and the handlebars and seat were filthy with black dirt that wouldn’t even wipe off. I immediately returned it, only to be told it was the display model and “the last one” despite being told back in May that if we ordered one, it would be a brand-new bike. I was then offered the “solution” of putting stickers over the scratches, which is completely unacceptable. The apology was half-hearted at best, and the only alternative given was to order another bike that would take over a week to arrive, meaning my daughter would miss out on her main birthday present. To make things worse, I was charged full price for a damaged display model without being told in advance. Jobes Cycles clearly didn’t care about the situation or the fact they ruined a special occasion. Poor communication, poor service, and zero accountability. I will never shop here again!!!
