Went in for a visit today. The store itself was fine and well presented with plenty of stock. Service however, was poor, there were at least 5 members of staff working but only 1 till open... The man serving at the till was taking his time when serving one customer, in the end we put the item back and left.
This place is getting worse by the day, these guys never have stock during major game releases. You'd best stick to Smyths or Currys, way more reliable. Also the customer lift was broken, not sure if they fixed it it yet (for those with disabilities as it's on the top floor of the building)
Recently just bought some pokemon packs from there. Never even batted an eye lid when the lady handed me the packs. From the counter. That were in the shelf thing at the till. Got home and they were extremely puffed up with air and the bottom of the packs were opening up like they had already been opened up and resealed. Not like much can be done now because I know that in TCG taking packs from the store means nothing can be done once the item has left the store but to anyone that ventures there I’d be asking to examine the packs before purchase as this is clearly an unethical thing to be selling if they are being resealed somewhere between distribution and them being on the game shelf.
Good range of stock, staff always friendly and the Belong arena is a nice addition. Not the best value compared to some other high street video game resellers, but the product offering is generally very high here.
Ordered Rugby 🏉 League 26 for my grandson, arrived on the day it came out, 17th July, 2025. Excellent service
