It's worth visiting this restaurant just to see the amazing interior decor- it's absolutely stunning inside and decorated in an Asian style. We ate on a busy Friday lunchtime and ordered from the Dragon lunch menu which is £19.95 for two courses and opted to upgrade to beef for £4.50 and added a desert for £5. There's a limited choice but the dishes were very good and for the price it's excellent value. The staff were really nice but the service was particularly slow on this visit and one of the drinks were complementary due to how long it took.
We visited The Ivy Asia for my wife’s birthday, and it’s certainly a place built for a special occasion. We opted for the taster menu, and while the food was a bit over-styled for my personal taste, there’s no denying it was delicious. We certainly felt satisfied by the end of the meal; the flavours are bold and match the intensity of the decor. The environment is captivating—and I mean that literally. There were quite a few people there who seemed more interested in getting the perfect picture for social media than actually eating their dinner! It’s the kind of place where you’re constantly looking around at something new, and I especially enjoyed the "theatre" of the samurai statue in the gents. It’s a fun, high-energy spot, but I wouldn't recommend popping in for dinner if you had a headache—it’s a full-on sensory experience. If you’re looking for a bit of "wow" factor for a birthday, it’s a solid choice that doesn't just rise to the occasion, it towers over it. Just be prepared for the glitz!
I first went to the Ivy Asia Leeds earlier this year and couldn’t wait to go back. I went with my husband and we enjoyed the tasting menu. I went back today for lunch on my own and ordered a couple of different items but by far my favourite dish was the Black Cod Miso. It’s cooked to perfection. The flavour is delicate and it melts in your mouth. I can’t recommend it enough and will be having it again anytime I’m back in Leeds, UK. The atmosphere of this restaurant is incredible and a treat for the eyes. The tasting menu is an absolute unforgettable experience. It’s delicious and a show! The service is exceptional and very welcoming. It’s pricey but in my opinion the service, food, and atmosphere are outstanding and worth the money. I’ve included photos from lunch today and our visit earlier this year.
Visited with my father today to celebrate my birthday and our afternoon was fabulous from start to finish! Service was outstanding as usual from stepping through the door. We had multiple dishes, pork belly, lobster and duck rice, duck spring rolls, chicken skewers and many more. We recommend them all. Our waiters name is Sheaka I believe. He was polite and attentive. Couldn't ask for better service, Thankyou The Ivy Asia Leeds for a wonderful afternoon.
This was a second visit to an Ivy Asia, I went to St Paul’s London and that was a great experience. Ivy Asia Leeds was a really lovely experience also, great for a special meal, I booked it for a 60th Birthday. Service, food and decor is first class. It is definitely worth a visit and fabulous surprise for a family celebration.
